Workshop of Drawing

In the course A "Drawing", we turn ourselves to the most important foundation of shape and dimension in the bidimensional space.
Just learned this first level, we have to explore the graphic techniques of ornamentation and decoration, regarding at styles.
In the some line, we study the different graphic techniques through the charcoal pencil and crayon.


Worshop of Engraving

Laboratory B is an articulated development where the knowledge of laboratory A is most important.
At the first level we discuss about the indirect engraving technique, or rather by etching. Then we can complete the neabibgfull forms of Acquatinta and Soff wax.
As regards the direct engraving, we study Graver, Bulino and Black Way.
The laboratory consists of three training courses: Prints of editorial illustrations/Commercial prints/Artistic prints.
In the some time, we can learn the technical of manual print by copper-plate press.


Workshop of Painting

It is necessary to know the basis of drawing.
During this course we study the technique of water-colour, tempera and oil painting.
In each techniques, we discuss how to work in the supports and the parts, as the preparation of plaster bottoms, both on wood and on canvas, with a finish in tempera or in oil, and besides we try to use siccatives or retarding lecquers for the transparency and fixatives when we finish our work to keep it good.
So, we also discuss of the instruments of work from every kinds of paint-brushes to broad knife and also all the instrumentation, that we have to use in every painting techniques.
From D course, we can reach the techniques of frescos on the wall; this work is made on a brickwork, with peculiar antique methods, supporting on a wall beginning from curling till glazing before the painting.
Also in this course we discuss some problems of rough to real drawing, from sinopia to the various phases of work till the achievement of "gold period" where painting will have to finish to keep characteristic of fresco.


Workshop of Sculpture

In the F course, the apprentice has to be master of form and drawing.
Eventually we can discuss in A course to study specifically the volumes in connection with forms using chiaroscuro technique on sculptural rough.


Workshop of Restoration

In this course we have to know the drawing basis and also the knowledge of the art of painting.
We can study the E course, without discuss A and D courses, but only demonstrating that we are able to do each one with a simple practical demonstration.
From D course, we can reach the techniques of frescos on the wall, this work is made on a brickwork, with peculiar antique methods, supporting on a wall beginning from curling till glazing before the painting.
